The call aims to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the promotion of creative partnerships and the adoption of new technologies. The goal is to support projects that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, stimulate innovation, and improve the sustainability of SMEs in the fashion and home furniture sectors.
Themes and Priorities
The call is divided into two main topics:
- SMP-COSME-2024-WORTH-01: Strengthening the Competitiveness and Innovation Capacity of SMEs through Creative Partnerships – WORTH Project – Fashion
- SMP-COSME-2024-WORTH-02: Strengthening the Competitiveness and Innovation Capacity of SMEs through Creative Partnerships – WORTH Project – Home Furniture
Fundable Activities
The activities eligible for funding include:
- Interdisciplinary collaboration projects involving different actors in the value chain.
- Development of prototypes and innovative products.
- Implementation of new technologies in production processes.
- Marketing and branding activities for accessing new markets.
- Training and skill development for the personnel of involved SMEs.
Eligibility
- Eligible countries: EU Member States and countries associated with the Single Market Program.
- Types of participants: SMEs, business support organizations, research institutes, universities, and other relevant actors.
- Consortium composition: Proposals must be submitted by consortia composed of at least three independent entities from three different eligible countries.
Evaluation Process
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance: Alignment with the objectives and priorities of the call.
- Project quality: Clarity, completeness, and consistency of the work plan.
- Impact: Potential to achieve the expected results and long-term sustainability.
- Consortium quality: Competence and experience of the involved partners.
