FRIEND CCI-Let’s have a look together on how our year was until now

January

 

On the 14th of January the second call for proposals of Friend CCI closed with some phenomenal numbers. We received  more than 40 project proposals, from which 12 were chosen and will receive fundings. The chosen projects are all very different from each other, and contain a vast diversity of themes. Some of the projects focus on music festivals, some on AI techonologies and on production of documentaries and so on. February – 3rd Transnational meeting Zaragoza

 

The 27th and 28th of February the Consortium held his third general assembly in the beautiful Zaragoza, welcomed by the parter Cluster IDiA.

Two days filled with exciting exchange of knowledge, experiences and lessons learned in the years.

During the stay the consortium had the opportunity to visit local firms that partecipated in the call.

 

 

March

 

The 15th of March the Friend CCI Consortium held an online meeting with the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) and DG GROW.

They discussed objectives, achievements, and challenges, delved into each work package, and planned future steps and milestones. The open discussion and Q&A gave valuable insights, shaping the next steps. This meeting wasn’t just routine; it’s a crucial step forward for the consortium.

European Meta-Cluster for Cultural and Creative Industries Launched

 

At the European Cluster Conference 2024 in Brussels, a significant agreement was signed between the FRIEND CCI EUROCLUSTER and Creathriv-Eu EUROCLUSTER, with the support of the European Clusters AllianceECCP, and EISMEA. This marks the creation of the European Meta-Cluster for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).

This new initiative will unite companies, public bodies, and universities to collaborate on managing, conserving, and enhancing cultural heritage and creativity. The Meta-Cluster aims to foster a collaborative environment, explore new supply chains across various sectors, and drive economic sustainability and innovation within the CCI sector.
